Since the genesis of PC Interworks within ICL, the 'Employee Sales' business grew to deliver services to more than 30 high profile organisations in the UK, including The Post Office, Cable & Wireless, all of the Fujitsu companies in the UK, and the former global consultants and accountants Arthur Andersen. In the 1999 Finance Act, the UK Government introduced the Home Computing Initiative, which provided tax incentives when organisations provided IT equipment to their employees. PC Interworks is very proud to have been a pioneer in this area, which assisted the acquisition of IT skills in the UK workforce.
